My Wedding Mag x Enchanted Intimate Wedding Escape

These Terms & Conditions apply to the My Wedding Mag x Enchanted Intimate Wedding Escape competition. Please read them carefully before entering. By submitting an entry, entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Promoters

2. Competition Period

Period Entries open on: 1 June 2026 Entries close on: 31 July 2026
All times are listed in NZT / NZDT, unless otherwise stated.
Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to couples who:

Are aged 18 years or over
Are legally able to enter the competition
Are legally able to marry in New Zealand, if they intend to use the prize for a legal wedding ceremony
Are available to redeem the prize at Enchanted on a date agreed with the venue
Understand and accept the venue capacity and accommodation limits
Agree to the image, story, promotional, and post-wedding content requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions

Employees, contractors, immediate family members, agencies, or suppliers directly connected with the competition may not enter unless otherwise agreed by the Promoters.

4. How to Enter

To enter, couples must complete the official competition entry form on the My Wedding Mag website.

Entrants must provide:

Couple names
Contact details
Location
Wedding planning stage
Preferred wedding timeframe
Ceremony guest numbers
Overnight accommodation requirements
Love story submission
Couple photo upload
Required permissions and consent checkboxes

Entrants must also follow @enchanted.nz and @myweddingmag on Instagram. The Promoters may verify social follows before confirming finalists or the winner.

Only one entry per couple is permitted. Incomplete, duplicate, misleading, or ineligible entries may be removed at the Promoters' discretion.

5. The Prize

One winning couple will receive the My Wedding Mag x Enchanted Intimate Wedding Escape.

The prize includes:

Three nights at Enchanted
Use of Enchanted for an intimate wedding ceremony
Ceremony guest allowance for up to 20 guests
Overnight accommodation for up to 12 people
Time onsite to decorate and prepare for the ceremony
A $500 photography package from Hannah Garnier Photography (Capturing 100 images of your wedding day)
The opportunity to be featured by My Wedding Mag, Enchanted, Host'd, and approved competition partners

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

6. Venue Capacity and Guest Numbers

Enchanted can host a wedding ceremony for up to 20 guests as part of this prize.

Enchanted can sleep up to 12 people overnight.

If the winning couple wishes to host a larger party, dinner, reception, or celebration after the ceremony, this must be arranged separately.

Nearby venues, accommodation providers, and local suppliers may be available to help support larger celebrations; however, these are not included in the prize unless expressly stated.

Any additional venue hire, accommodation, catering, transport, staffing, supplier, or guest-related costs are the responsibility of the winning couple.

The winning couple is responsible for ensuring their plans are suitable for Enchanted's capacity, layout, accommodation limits, and venue requirements.

7. Prize Exclusions

The prize does not include:

Flights or travel
Transport to or from Enchanted
Catering
Alcohol or beverages
Celebrant fees
Marriage licence or legal paperwork
Florals
Additional styling or décor
Hair and makeup
Wedding attire
Rings
Entertainment or music
Reception or party venue hire outside Enchanted
Additional accommodation beyond the 12 people sleeping onsite
Additional photography costs beyond the included $500 photography package
Printed images, albums, extra edited images, or additional digital files unless included in the photography package
Travel insurance, event insurance, or personal insurance
Any other costs not specifically listed as included in the prize

8. Photography Package

The prize includes a $500 photography package. The exact details of the photography package, including timing, deliverables, editing, gallery access, image selection, and any additional costs, must be confirmed directly with the photographer. This is subject to the availability of the photographer and must been arranged with Hannah Gardiner, contact details will be supplied to the winner.

Any photography services, images, edits, prints, albums, or files outside the included package are the responsibility of the winning couple.

Usage rights for wedding images must be agreed in writing before the wedding takes place.

9. Decorating and Venue Care

The three-night stay is intended to give the winning couple time to arrive, settle in, decorate, celebrate, and enjoy the Enchanted experience.

Any decorations, styling, florals, props, signage, or installations must be approved by Enchanted before the wedding.

All decorations must be safe, respectful of the property, and gentle on the venue and surrounding environment.

The winning couple is responsible for ensuring the venue is treated with care and left in accordance with Enchanted's requirements.

Any damage, additional cleaning, or venue-related costs caused by the winning couple, guests, or suppliers may be charged to the winning couple.

10. Finalist Selection

After entries close, My Wedding Mag and Enchanted will review all eligible entries.

Five finalist couples will be selected based on their love story submission, overall fit for the prize, suitability for the venue, and alignment with the competition.

The Promoters' decision on the five finalists is final.

Finalists will be contacted using the details provided in their entry form.

By accepting a finalist position, finalists agree that their names, location, submitted couple image, and selected excerpts from their love story may be shared publicly as part of the voting phase.

11. Public Voting

The five finalist couples will be featured on a public voting page. The public voting page may include each finalist couple's names, location, submitted couple image, and selected excerpts from their love story.

The public will be invited to vote for the finalist couple they would most like to see win the My Wedding Mag x Enchanted Intimate Wedding Escape.

Voting will open on 14th August 2026 and close on 6th September 2026.

All voting dates and times are listed in NZT / NZDT, unless otherwise stated.

Voting will take place through the official voting method or platform confirmed by the Promoters. Votes submitted outside the official voting method or voting period may not be counted.

Each person may vote once during the voting period, unless otherwise stated by the Promoters.

Voting may require the voter to provide an email address or other verification details to help protect the fairness and integrity of the competition.

The Promoters reserve the right to review, verify, moderate, remove, or disqualify any votes they reasonably believe to be duplicate, fraudulent, automated, incomplete, misleading, suspicious, or otherwise in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

The finalist couple with the highest number of verified votes at the close of the voting period will be deemed the winner, subject to final eligibility checks and acceptance of all prize conditions.

In the event of a tie, technical issue, voting irregularity, platform error, or any other circumstance that affects the fairness or integrity of the public vote, the Promoters reserve the right to make the final decision, extend the voting period, conduct further verification, or determine the winner at their discretion.

The Promoters' decision regarding finalists, vote validity, vote totals, and the winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. Winner Notification and Prompt Venue Coordination

Once public voting has closed and the winning couple has been confirmed, the winning couple will be notified using the contact details provided in their entry form.

The winning couple must contact Enchanted within 4 weeks of being notified.

The winning couple will be required to work directly with Enchanted in a prompt, respectful, and professional manner to confirm all prize details, including but not limited to:

Available wedding dates
Venue access
Three-night stay details
Ceremony plans
Guest numbers
Overnight accommodation requirements
Decorating plans
Supplier requirements
Photography package details
Any nearby party, reception, or additional accommodation options
Promotional and content requirements

All arrangements are subject to Enchanted's availability, suitability, and final approval.

If the winning couple does not make contact within the required timeframe, does not respond to reasonable communications, or is unable to agree on suitable arrangements with Enchanted, the Promoters reserve the right to withdraw the prize and select another winner.

13. Prize Redemption

Wedding dates are subject to Enchanted's availability and may exclude public holidays, peak periods, or any dates unavailable to the venue.

The winning couple must be flexible and willing to work with Enchanted to find a suitable date.

If the winning couple cannot redeem the prize within the required timeframe, the prize may be forfeited.

14. Submitted Story and Couple Image Permission

By entering, entrants agree that their couple photo, names, location, and submitted love story, or excerpts from their entry, may be used by My Wedding Mag, Enchanted, Host'd, and approved competition partners for purposes connected with the competition.

This may include:

Competition landing page
Finalist voting page
Social media posts and stories
Email marketing
Website content
Magazine content
Blog content
Public relations
Paid or organic promotional material

The Promoters reserve the right to edit submitted stories for length, grammar, clarity, and formatting, while taking care not to materially change the meaning of the submission.

Entrants confirm that any image submitted as part of their entry is their own image, or that they have permission to submit and share the image for the purposes of this competition.

15. Wedding Image and Post-Wedding Promotional Use

If selected as the winning couple, the couple agrees that approved images from their wedding may be used by My Wedding Mag, Enchanted, Host'd, the photographer, and approved competition partners for promotional purposes after the wedding.

This may include:

Real wedding features
Website articles
Social media posts and stories
Email marketing
Magazine content
Advertising
Future competition promotion
Venue promotion
Photographer promotion
Public relations
Other related promotional material

The winning couple agrees to provide reasonable cooperation for post-wedding content, which may include a real wedding feature, interview, social media content, podcast, video episode, or other agreed promotional activity.

All image usage must be subject to the photographer's usage rights and any permissions agreed in writing before the wedding.

16. Personal Information, Voter Data and Marketing Consent

Entrants' personal information will be collected for the purpose of administering the competition, contacting entrants, selecting finalists, managing public voting, confirming the winner, and arranging the prize.

Where voters are required to provide an email address or other details to submit a vote, this information will be collected for the purpose of administering, verifying, and protecting the integrity of the public voting process.

Voter information may be used to identify and remove duplicate, automated, fraudulent, incomplete, or suspicious votes.

Entrants and voters may also choose to opt in to receive future marketing communications from My Wedding Mag, Enchanted, Host'd, and/or approved competition partners.

Marketing consent must be clearly selected by the entrant or voter.

Entrants and voters may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

The Promoters must handle all personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and their respective privacy policies.

17. Changes to the Competition

The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend, cancel, or extend the competition if circumstances outside their reasonable control affect the running, fairness, or integrity of the competition.

Any updates will be communicated through the competition page where reasonably possible.

18. Disqualification

The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entry or vote that is incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, automated, offensive, inappropriate, submitted in breach of these Terms & Conditions, or otherwise deemed unsuitable.

The Promoters may also disqualify any entrant, finalist, voter, or winning couple who behaves in a way that is abusive, disrespectful, unprofessional, or harmful to the Promoters, partners, suppliers, other entrants, finalists, voters, guests, or the public.

19. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, cost, or expense incurred by entrants, finalists, voters, the winning couple, guests, or suppliers in connection with the competition or prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

The winning couple is responsible for ensuring they and their guests comply with all venue rules, supplier requirements, safety requirements, and applicable laws.

20. Acceptance of Terms

By entering this competition, entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

By voting in this competition, voters confirm that they agree to the public voting terms outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
