Weddings don’t all have to be about drinking, especially for those who don’t drink alcohol. That’s why The Chiller – Aotearoa’s alcohol-free drink store could be a great way for guests to enjoy themselves without having to drink alcoholic beverages.
According to an individual survey of people living in Aotearoa conducted by The Chiller’s founder Amanda Boock, more than 35 percent of individuals said they had or would have a wedding without alcohol. 90 percent of weddings in Aotearoa have non-alcoholic drinking guests, so it’s only fair to be able to cater to people who don’t like to/can’t drink alcohol, but simultaneously want to feel included in celebrating.
The Chiller and Little Doozy Caravan Bar worked together to host an alcohol-free wedding providing non-alcoholic drinks such as mocktails for 140 guests, showing to everyone that weddings can occur without serving predominantly alcohol.
The collaboration between both companies led to them creating a stunning variety of non-alcoholic cocktails like a clean mojito and raspberry mimosa. Every cocktail was made using some sort of product from The Chiller. It has also been noted that over 44 percent of Kiwis create or plan to make a signature cocktail when getting married, so it’s a good idea for soon-to-be brides and grooms to consider doing the same thing.
The Chiller thinks non-alcoholic drinks can still be fun and exciting. They’re just as delicious and give people the same enjoyable party feeling, just without the hangover the next day, so that’s a bonus! The Chiller provides various tasty, advanced alternatives, allowing all guests to feel like they have a large variety of drinks to choose from. The Chiller sells alternative beers and cider, wine, spirits, bundles, and cocktail kits.
Next time soon-to-be wedding couples are planning a wedding, they should think about giving their guests the pleasure of having a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. The clean mojito and raspberry mimosa zero percent signature cocktail kits are available to purchase along with other non-alcoholic alternatives at thechiller.co.nz
