With more than 30 years of experience crafting destination weddings and romantic getaways, Gatley says her expertise remains at the heart of the new brand. However, Desire to Travel expands the focus to encompass luxury escapes, group travel including inclusive-access buyouts, special adventures and bespoke itineraries for travellers seeking meaningful experiences worldwide.

‘I wanted a name that resonates with the emotional side of travel’ she says. “Whether it’s romance, celebration or personal discovery, each journey should be something the customer truly desires.

Anita is a qualified and registered Travel Broker from the Travel Managers Group Ltd (owned by Flight Centre) and is IATA & NZITT accredited. Wedding Travel is a proud member of the DWSHA (Destination Wedding Specialist Honeymoon Association) and is currently the only NZ member of this North American association.
