I am based in Invercargill, in the Southland region, on New Zealand’s South Island. I’m originally from South Africa and moved to New Zealand with my family in 2020. My passion for wedding filmmaking started in 2012 and I have since done more than 200 weddings. I’m active in the beautiful Southland and Otago region with popular places such as Queenstown, Wanaka, Fiordland, Dunedin and the Catlins included. I also travel anywhere in New Zealand to capture weddings.
The combination of my love for couple portraits and landscape photography has led me into the wedding photography world. Every picture tells a story, let me tell your love story.
I’m a minimalist videographer/photographer that prefers to shoot weddings on my own and blend in with the crowd. My approach to documenting a wedding is to be discreet, I use small, silent cameras, no complicated rigs or big fluffy microphones. I have a cinematic storytelling approach to a wedding and for me, the focus is a relaxed, discreet approach to capturing your story, allowing your day to unfold naturally, as intended.
