Our family owned lodge is located on 100 acres of private land known as Kourawhero Estate in the Matakana hinterland and is just an hour’s drive from Auckland. Contemporary secluded villa accommodations in paradise-like grounds, are set high above surrounding land, meaning privacy is guaranteed and views extend as far as the Hauraki Gulf. Our facilities include a restaurant, outdoor pool, sauna, day spa treatments, cocktail bar and extensive grounds to explore.

Woodhouse Mountain Lodge is set on large private grounds and specializes in catering for intimate gatherings up to 40 guests, elopements and small weddings. Imagine you and your loved ones sharing this special moment with a wonderful ceremony on a Kourawhero mountain overlooking the Hauraki Gulf, followed by a stunning wedding reception in our stylish restaurant in the main lodge.

Before submitting your wedding, please read and acknowledge our guidelines.

All images and videos are to be provided via Dropbox, CD or Flashdrive.

We love to see a wide selection of content and details that tell the story of your wedding day.

All content must be original and has not been published elsewhere.

Couples must have photographers permission to share all content with us prior to your submission and vice versa.

Please include the websites and social media handles of your vendors so we can credit their contributions

If you wish to send us your images/videos in the form of a CD or Flashdrive via courier, please ensure this is a copy that we can keep. Our physical address is as follows:
