Your guide to wedding websites

By Jamie Quinn

Consult any wedding planning checklist, and you’ll notice that creating your wedding website is one of the first things to do once your date has been set.

Traditionally, physical wedding invitations were the way you informed your guests of on the day details. We still hold a fondness for paper invitations but it’s become apparent that the majority of wedding guests no longer rely on them for information. While you’ve undoubtedly dedicated a significant amount of time sticking stamps onto those RSVP reply cards, providing an online alternative empowers guests to choose their preferred method of response. Alternatively, you might consider exclusively opting for online RSVP, while reserving physical reply cards for older relatives who might not be as well-versed in using computers as others.

In our tech-driven era, wedding websites have evolved into a vital part of the planning process. These websites serve as a digital hub that make it simple to communicate with your guests. While they are primarily used for guest RSVP’s, a well curated website will also allow you to share crucial
details such as your registry, day-of arrangements, and accommodation options. Along with the flexibility to include fun elements like your love story, the wedding party or engagement photos, it’s a one-stop shop for all of your wedding details.

The good news is that there are plenty of wedding website builders available, but with so many program options, it can feel overwhelming deciding which is the best fit for you.

We did the work for you and made a list of some of the best wedding website options.
